In the teenage years, lots of things start to happen. In the beginning, it starts with guys and girls changing. Girls get pretty, and guys start to notice the girls getting pretty. Later in the teenage years, you get your driver’s license, and maybe even a car. No matter what kind of a teenager you are, it’d be nice to have more money! There will always be expenses, or just something you’d like to buy. Here’s 13 Ways To Make Money As A Teenager. We aren’t talking about pennies on the dollar here, either. This is real money, sometimes getting into over a thousand dollars a day. Yes, this is legal too!
1) Flipping Cars
I put this method first because, well, this is my favorite method! Not only have I made tens of thousands of dollars with this method, but I’ve had the privilege of driving some very cool cars too! Not just the cars that I talk about in my story, but some of the cars that I just looked at. These include a candy-apple red Buick Skylark GS, a Delorean DMC-12, an 800whp drag Civic, and more!
The profit margin on cars is simply incredible, we’re talking three grand in profit all day, with the same investment. The entry cost to this business is a little higher than some of the other methods on this list. If you can spare $600 or so, though, you’ll be able to start building your wealth! If you don’t know how to use Craigslist, don’t worry, because I have a guide to it! Trust me, it’s not as hard as it seems. All you need is the starting investment, some Craigslist searching, and value checking with the Ebay solds.
2) Start A Blog
Yes, this can make you lots of money! Be prepared, this is not a short-term investment, this takes awhile to grow and pay off. This is the second most profitable on the list though, many people are making well over ten thousand a *MONTH* with blogs! This blog can be on just about anything, but I’d recommend it be on something you’re passionate about. That just makes it easier to write, and to stick with it.
Starting up your blog is easy with Bluehost! They include a domain name, tons of subdomains, a hosting plan, and so much more! Paired with the WordPress engine, you have endless themes to choose from, and the ability to customize your website beyond that afterwards! Sound complicated? Don’t worry, it did to me too! With the help from this course though, making and monetizing your website is a breeze! This course will teach you to use Affiliate Marketing to monetize your blog, which is the best form of monetization!
3) Freelance Writing
Don’t think you’ve got the chops to write your own blog yet? Don’t worry, you can make money while learning! With freelance writing, you can get paid up to seven cents a word! I know, that doesn’t sound like much, but think about it this way. My story is nearing seven thousand words. seven thousand times seven cents is $490. One post. Near $500.
I did the math for you, and the numbers show tons of money! Even if you chose to stick with writing, the money here certainly isn’t settling! If you could even write one of those articles a week, you’re looking at a solid $52,000 a year, which is absolutely a livable salary! One big article a week, and you make more than most people make at a 9-5, how good a deal is that!? With help from this resource, you can easily add to your current income, or replace it altogether!
4) Tutoring/Teaching
Bringing it back somewhat local, tutoring can bring in some good money too. You get to choose what you charge with tutoring, which is one big benefit. You can also choose what you specialize in, to tailor to your strengths. This would be advertised on Facebook, Craigslist, and pretty much anywhere else you can. If somebody’s kid isn’t doing well in school, and they’re desperate enough to hire a private tutor, you know that you can charge a pretty penny. Provided that you’re doing a good job, of course.
5) Making a Course (Tutoring… but less work, online, and higher profit!)
Speaking of “course”, your tutoring services don’t have to be in person. You can take your knowledge online, with Teachable courses! Here, you also get to choose how much you charge for your knowledge, but you don’t have to personally teach every single person! If you make the content once, you’re set forever. People then just search for your course, sign up, and you get paid automatically.
Again, your course can be on anything you want it to be, but I’d recommend something you’re really good at, passionate about, or hopefully something that’s both! With a low initial investment, and a potentially infinite return on your money, it’s sure a sweet deal!
6) Affiliate Marketing Funnels
Continuing the trend of “little in, potentially infinite out”, we have Affiliate Marketing Funnels. This is the only method on here that doesn’t cost your clientele any more than normal. Affiliate marketing is the only business model that can stake that claim, how cool is that!? Anyways, with Clickfunnels, you don’t even need to have your own website. Using their super user-friendly interface, you can drag-and-drop your way to a professional funnel!
Another set it and forget it system, as soon as you make the funnel, it can start bringing in cash! You can drive more traffic to it with paid advertisement, but you can leave it for organic traffic as well. Either way, this is yet another high profit margin, ripe for the taking! They even give you a 14-day free trial, so you can get used to their platform before you even decide to enter!
7) Web Repair
This one is a little closer to a job than the others here, but it still has potential to make good money. On your own time, too. Most people out there don’t know how to code a website, or troubleshoot it when something goes wrong. If your skills lie in technology, you can make a pretty penny being a consultant, or even a freelance coder.
With how many websites there are on the internet, some are bound to have issues. And in that, some will have owners that don’t know code, who hired out the creation of their site (which is another thing you can do). There’s a very wide market for your services in the end, and you can charge what you want for the work, too.
8) YouTube Channel
Yeah yeah, it’s cliche to try and become a YouTube personality. But hear me out here, there’s still room for people on YouTube. There will always be room! The only stipulation is that you’ve gotta be more creative than the other people, but trust me… That’s not hard. With how many people just post junk on YouTube, you have a pretty good chance of going viral. With YouTube, you have the benefit of making videos on any topic you want, too! If you’re passionate about underwater basket weaving, then write about that! If it’s cars, make videos about that! The possibilities are endless, and you can monetize many different ways too. From youtube ads to a merchandise store, you can make money your way!
9) Amazon FBA
Something similar to this comes up later in the list, but this is absolutely *the* highest grossing item on this list. I’m talking about hundred-thousand dollar months here. Just let that sink in for a bit. One hundred thousand dollars, a one followed by five zeroes, making that in about thirty days. That’s just over three thousand a day. Yes, that’s absolutely possible with Amazon FBA, if not *common*!
Some of the highlights are that you don’t have to house your stock, Amazon does that for you! Not only do they house your stock, but they handle all the shipping, returns, and customer service!

10) Selling Your Excess Items
This is the only finite item on this list. By no means is it a “get-rich-quick” scheme, but it’s one of the quicker ways to get some money in your pocket. Got a movie tomorrow to pay for? Sell something you don’t use anymore, and you’ll go for free! This can tie in with the first one, flipping cars.
It’s not legal, and I am *not* endorsing or recommending you do this at all, but you can flip cars much faster if you buy them with an open title (you don’t fill in any of your personal information, and leave the date blank too). Regardless, selling household items can be super quick and easy money, with no noticeable loss. With LetGo, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist, items can be gone in a matter of hours.
11) Become a Personal Trainer
This is another job-like idea, but it’s much less time consuming than a 9-5 either way. One thing about being a personal trainer, people are willing to pay ridiculously high amounts if they feel that they’re bettering themselves. Personal betterment is a massively profitable market, and if you could get a slice of that, you could be making six figure years working just a few times a week. You’d have to know what you’re doing (or at least look like you do lol), but the payoff is well worth the cost. With little to no overhead costs, just about everything you make you keep!
12) Shopify
Another immensely profitable venture, Shopify is basically Amazon FBA, except you don’t have all the competition on Amazon, it’s entirely your site! Now, this does take some work, as you have to create your own Shopify site to sell on, but your conversion rates are through the roof compared to Amazon and their competition!
